Organised by SGTech, in partnership with Launch JDI, the Vietnam Immersion Programme provided a platform for businesses from Singapore and Vietnam to explore AI opportunities in retail and manufacturing.
Over the four days, Singapore’s AI solution providers traveled to Vietnam for 1-to-1 business matchings, company visits, workshops, and a networking event. They met with key industry players, gained firsthand insights into the local market, and explored potential collaborations with leading retailers and manufacturers.

Networking Party
Following a series of insightful business meetings and on-site visits, our Singapore delegation and Vietnamese industry leaders came together for the networking party, SGTech x Launch JDI MeetUp: AI Transformation – Revolutionising Retail & Manufacturing.
This exclusive networking event brought together over 100 international and local participants for a dynamic AI panel discussion and networking party, providing a platform to foster meaningful discussions, forge new partnerships, and accelerate AI adoption in retail and manufacturing.
The highlight of the night was an inspiring AI panel discussion, featuring an incredible lineup of speakers: Mr. Dang Tran – General Manager and Head of Sales & Marketing at Lotte Innovate Vietnam, Ms. Céline Ventalon – Founder & CEO at ÉMER, and Mr. Saravanan Periyasami – Senior R&D Development Manager & Technical Manager at Thuan Phuong Group. Their insights sparked engaging conversations on AI’s impact in retail and manufacturing.
Beyond the discussions, the event provided a relaxed and lively atmosphere—a chance for participants to unwind, de-stress, and connect on a more personal level.

Workshops
As part of the Vietnam Immersion Programme, Singapore delegates took part in a series of private workshops designed to deepen their understanding and help them to better navigate the Vietnam business landscape.
During the session, they received valuable insights into Vietnam’s market entry strategies and recruitment environment, shared by Ms. Lyna Huynh, Head of Corporate Services at Launch JDI, and Mr. Vu Tran, Managing Partner at Talent JDI.
The discussion then continued with an engaging roundtable led by Mr. Dinh Duc Quang, Country Head of Global Markets at UOB Vietnam. It highlighted Vietnam’s latest market trends and developments, unlocking hidden opportunities that Singapore businesses can tap into.
