Vietnam Immersion Programme: Smart City (VIP: Smart City) is a 4-day programme held in Ho Chi Minh City – the technology hub and economic center of Vietnam, to facilitate business matching and networking between:

- Key stakeholders of the local smart city agenda and projects in Vietnam

On Day 1’s afternoon, we have the pleasure to meet Pham The Trung – Deputy Director, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu – Head of Solution Dept 2, and Mr. Truong Quang Khai – Head of Solution Dept 3 of VNPT, to learn about the VNPT-IT’s ecosystem and why they are looking for innovative solutions to their sustainable smart city projects.

Day 2 morning continues with the Singapore delegation’s trip to Viettel Solutions. Here, we got an overview of Viettel Solutions’ ecosystem across different sectors in Vietnam, as well as for overseas markets, through the dedicated sharings from Mr. Doan Dai Phong – Deputy CEO, and other key leaders of Viettel Solutions.

We kickstart our Day 2 with the Singapore pavilion exhibition at the International Scientific Conference RTD 2022. Through the exhibition, the Singapore smart city participants were able to showcase their products and services to industry leaders, academics, and the local media.
