On March 27, 2025, we wrapped up Founders’ Table: Building Legacies with incredible success!
Privately hosted at BLOCK71 Social Impact Hub in Singapore, the event brought together top startup founders for real, unfiltered conversations about the highs, the hurdles, and everything in between a startup founder’s journey.
More than just networking, it was a space to forge meaningful connections, exchange insights, and explore how we can grow—together.
Founders’ Table: Building Legacies – Event Highlights
Founders’ Table: Building Legacies began with a warm welcome from the host, Mr. Hussein Sulaiman, Investment Principal at Capital JDI.
He shared Capital JDI’s vision and the event’s goal—emphasizing a commitment to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs to drive innovation and sustainable success across Southeast Asia through meaningful initiatives, knowledge sharing, and mutual support.
The intimate and meaningful dinner then kicked off with founders engaging in conversations and sharing their real stories—the highs, the lows, and the unexpected moments that come with building a business.
From scaling challenges to “why didn’t anyone warn me about this” moments, the conversations were raw, real, and incredibly insightful. Founders who once thought they were facing unique hurdles quickly realized they weren’t alone.
Whether it was navigating fundraising hurdles, exploring market expansion, or simply surviving the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship, the room buzzed with shared experiences and practical advice to collectively support each other’s growth.

As the night unfolded, meaningful connections formed naturally as attendees savored delicious finger foods and refreshments amidst the vibrant atmosphere.
Attendees eagerly engaged with one another, business cards (and LinkedIn connections) were exchanged, and potential partnerships were taking shape.
By the end of the event, Founders’ Table: Building Legacies proved truly inspiring! Attendees walked away with valuable insights, meaningful connections, and a renewed sense of motivation for the journey ahead.
Conclusion
At Capital JDI, we are deeply grateful for all the attendees’ presence and the opportunity to host such an intimate and successful networking night, driving positive impact in the region’s ecosystem.
A special note of appreciation goes out to our valued Food Sponsor, the moonbeam co., for fueling the night with delicious food and refreshing drinks, making the experience even more memorable for everyone involved.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to see the startup ecosystem thrive—when founders have a space to learn from real-world experiences (not just theory), support each other through the wins and challenges, and grow together with a spirit of collaboration.
