As part of its expansion efforts across Southeast Asia, Hiverlab has conducted extensive market research to identify potential opportunities within the region. In 2021, the company made the strategic decision to establish a subsidiary in Vietnam, aiming to tap into new customer segments, leverage local talent pools, and explore new avenues for growth.

Unfortunately, the expansion was significantly disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, as Vietnam implemented social distancing measures and selective area quarantines.

Coupled with the country’s intricate business setup process and strict regulations, Hiverlab recognized the need for a trustworthy partner who could help them seamlessly navigate the market and establish their presence in Vietnam.

With that in mind, Hiverlab participated in the very first cohort of the GIA Acceleration Programme to Ho Chi Minh City, leveraging its extensive network to search for a reliable in-market partner in Vietnam.
